Through our Outreach Survey, we collected data on 395 outreach programs from field stations across the United States. We were most interested in those programs that are place-based and informal.
When you click on one of the program links below you will discover its format (e.g., nature hike, lecture, camp), frequency, and other details about the program’s implementation. Characteristics of each program are aligned with the Informal STEM Learning Framework.
To learn more about the Outreach Framework, we recommend reading the publications listed in the Research section of this web site.
